Riverside High School Counseling Center

General Information

Come to the counseling center with any questions or concerns you may have as a student at Riverside High School.

Class Scheduling

The counseling office is responsible for all class scheduling at the high school. When a student comes to register for classes they will be assigned to a counselor based on which grade they are in. As a student, your counselor will work with you to establish your class schedule for each semester and/or the entire year.

To request changes to one's schedule, a student must pick up a schedule change request form from the counseling office and get the approval of the instructors of both the class you are dropping and the class you are adding to your schedule. If you are interested in Running Start or College in High School let your counselor know.

Scholarships

Some scholarship applications and searching options are available in the CTE Center, room 211. Most scholarships are coordinated through the cooperation of the counseling center and the Career/CTE Center.  Below are some resourceful links on finding great scholarships.  For information or questions regarding scholarships, financial aid or other college concerns, contact your counselor or Talana Mielke in the CTE/Career Center.
