Our Mission: The mission of Riverside High School--in partnership with the community--is to provide a safe, nurturing, and challenging environment, encouraging all students to develop their full potential and to become independent thinkers, lifelong learners, and responsible citizens who contribute to the betterment of the world through a variety of curricular, co-curricular and/or extra-curricular activities.
Our Vision:
With an eye on the future, the Riverside High School faculty and administration will create an environment that promotes student success in school and in life. Students will have opportunities to grow academically and socially.
Recognizing the need students to have a strong academic base, teachers will stress skills in reading, writing, mathematics, science, social studies, and technology. The arts, physical education, foreign language, and career/technical education will be recognized for their importance in the development of the whole individual.
Perceiving that students must be prepared to meet the challenging dynamics of contemporary life, the faculty and administration are committed to examining and implementing innovations in education that facilitate student success in their lives. Career education and exploration will be a vital component of our program.
A graduate of Riverside High School will have a record of successful experiences and valuable academic preparation that will open opportunities for the future.
