About Us
Our
store opened its doors in 1987, to meet many needs in the Riverside
community. We started out with donated clothing. As time went on, it
became apparent that there were many ways we could use our space and
talents more wisely. In 1991, we brought in a small gift assortment
and added balloons and flowers to our service. In November, 2008, we began transitioning the store to include a deli. In September, 2009 we opened as a full service deli. We also serve pastries, desserts, coffee and tea. In addition to the deli, our gift department has grown and we continue to bring in a variety of unique merchandise throughout the year. Our new look provides a warm and inviting atmosphere to shop, eat or just visit with friends.
Why Are We Unique?
Riverside Simple Cravings Deli & Gifts is a training site for high school students. The
students are given the opportunity to learn how to display gifts, food preparation, design flower and
balloon arrangements, inventory, data processing, and teamwork.
